Today, we have a rare opportunity, to visit 3 restaurants in 24 hours. Each has a different cuisine, using a different approach, from a different culture. Great video! But I prefer the individual restaurant format as it doesn't feel as rushed and you go into more detail with regards to the restaurant and food.
Sorry but two of these are not 3 star restaurants. Different cultures fine but they’re still handing out the same stars for a worse experience

When I was in Hong Kong I ate lunch at a Michelin recommended place (no stars though) and the staff was super rude. So the service just ignoring you sounds like a step up to me 😄 As for the format, I prefer one place per video. Every ***-restaurant is something special and deserves its own, dedicated video IMHO.

I realised that I’ve watched every video release 😮. Maybe you can make the video’s a little bit longer, for us to grasp the feeling a bit more (instead of the clear description of the taste and construction of the meal, how service is, …). It’s just really fast, but it doesn’t stop me watching.

I found it really more demanding than usual he should deconstruct his self why take as standard European restaurants... Don’t compare French and Italian cuisine also the service standards of Chinese and other cultures it just doesn’t work. Michelin just wants to sell its books end of story.

been to all of these, all way way over rated. 8 1/2 is another fad. Way too expensive for the quality and consistency. with the exception of a few dishes, Cantonese food is odd, tasteless and often quite poor. Honestly food is way better AND much cheaper in Europe, Middle East

Do you plan to visit L’Ambroisie anytime soon? Although I guess, they are not to happy about cameras& influencers?
In my experience, Chinese restaurants that focus on service as per "Western" standards are doing so to get that clientèle. Genuine Chinese restaurants vary considerably in service, but staff simply providing the food and moving on is the norm. I had the same in a traditional (Michelin) Chinese restaurant in HK. I don't remember if it was 2 or 3*, but generally I found it disappointing. Blocking clients, however, I haven't experienced in my 5 years in China. The food mentioned, yes, and at times the mental reaction challenges the taste buds!

My bias is I am of the opinion that to the Asian pallet texture is more important than flavor. As such, chewy, crispy, slimy and mildly flavored is considered good cooking. I have a decidedly European pallet. A fusion of Asian and French cooking is, in my estimation, not to my taste. I want roasted meats, flavorful sauces, strong flavors balanced with root veggies.

Hi Alexander!! As for feedbacks on the new video format, I kinda prefer the short video format so you can have more time to focus on one restaurant, it would have been interesting to know more of your thoughts on the 2nd and third restaurant had there were in the short vid format (individual restaurant reviews). While I do enjoy the long video format, I personally felt it would be better for that long format to appear once in a while in your channel, just like the top ten michelin restaurant video you made but not all the time. Take for example, another food channel like the Best Ever Food Review Show channel, they have a mix of 4-10mins short vids, 20mins-1 hr that made up of multiple food reviews to documentary style food videos. Hope this helps!

It`s interesting how different the Michelin inspectors are on different continents. I have heard there are a lot of "kickbacks" to the Asian Michelin guide and therefore the relative reviewing is not on par certainly with the European guides. That Japanese place especially would only get 1 star in London!
